Red Bull Flugtag 2008
Red Bull Flugtag makes a welcome return to London’s Hyde Park on Saturday 7th June 2008 when 40 teams of fearless inventors will compete for the coveted winner’s prize by designing, constructing and flying their man-powered machines into The Serpentine lake. This is where you can see how the competitors have been making their machines, and assess their chances of success. The competition will be judged on distance flown and level of creativity. Points will also be awarded for the entertainment value of the pre-flight performance. Originality will be key when trying to sway the votes of the both the celebrity judges and the crowd.
